Etched plaques are a great alternative to cast raised letter
plaques. Some smaller applications and less budget projects are a
perfect fit for Etched Plaques. Paint fill into letters can be in any
standard color. Black tends to be the most popular and the highest
contrast.
Recessed Graphics is the standard etching option. An Etched Plaque
is recessed therby, the text and/or graphics are paint filled.
Raised text and/or graphics on Etched Plaques are priced 10% higher
than the standard recessed etching. When this option is specified the
background will be painted, leaving the text or graphics in the alloy
color. There are stroke and artwork limitations with raised copy
plaques.
